News is an open-access (CC BY 4.0, all rights remain with the author), online-only, digitally archived (Biotaxa) journal (for details, see Open access). All requirements for taxonomic publications as defined in the 2012 amendment of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature are met (for details, see Aims and scope).
